The past 2 weeks...

The camera cord has arrived from Missouri! So let the updates begin!!! Here's a little of what's been going on in the past two weeks...

I am proud to announce that Emma no longer takes a "ba-ba" (paci)!!! I decided on a whim one day that she was too big for it so we decided to get rid of it cold-turkey. The first couple of days were pretty rough. Especially since I was fighting the "ba-ba" battle alone since Trav was at football practice. But we survived! Now instead of keeping track of one tiny "ba-ba" I need to keep track of.... a monkey, a doll, a rabbit, a big blankie and a little nuzzle. :) She won't go to sleep unless she has everything piled on her...and I mean EVERYTHING!

Emma has really taken an interest in Colt lately. She loves to tuck his blankets around him, sing to him, kiss him, squeeze him and talk baby talk to him! In the pick below she was singing to him. As you can see he was loving it! I don't remember Emma smiling and cooing quite so early... but little man is one happy baby boy!!!

The babes were watching "Goodnight Moon" before bedtime... I could just gobble up their chubby little cheeks!!!

Colt went to nursery for the first time this past Sunday. They said he did a great job and slept the entire time!

The other morning the weather was cool and it felt like fall was in the air! We had the front door open for most of the morning... it was so refreshing! Mid-way through the morning I loaded the kiddos up and we headed to the park to meet Amanda and Ella.

Colty enjoying a morning nap in the crisp-fallish air.

congrats on getting rid of a pacifier. I know it probably wasn't easy...It's funny to see Emma with all her new friends( monkey, blankie etc..), Bella is the same way, she has to have 3 blankies, pink elephant and white bear with her everywhere....
I love the picture of Colt and Emma sitting on the couch next to each other and I guess watching something on tv? It's a profile picture.

AHH! Those are the best pictures of the kiddos. So sweet! I love that Emma has to have all those things in bed with her now. :)
