The second video is of bathtime... every since she was a little baby we put her in the bath tub and she has ALWAYS kicked her legs furiously while laying on her back! Now that she's bigger it's like visiting Shamu at Sea World... you leave the bathroom soaked!

Waffles, Grilled Cheese and Crazy Hair
I know that I say it all the time... but Emma is getting to be such a big girl! I love the age she's at right now because every day she seems to be doing something new:) For a long time she wasn't interested in any foods besides her bottle. Just in the past couple of weeks she has REALLY taken an interest in what we're eating. I kept trying to feed her baby food but she wants nothing to do with it... so big people food it is! I love it because now in the mornings her and I will sit down and eat breakfast together! The foods that I get her to eat the most of are waffles and grilled cheese! It's fun to watch her eat because she concentrates very hard on picking up each piece...then she'll chew it carefully....and then go on to the next piece:) I love it!
I had thought that by 9 months Em's hair would be laying down... but no... it still stands straight up! I love to put headbands with big bows on her but during the day when we're at home that seems a little over the top:) So we've been trying little clippes! They look cute because it clips down a tiny section of hair and the rest just poofs up around the clip! Ha! I'm going to work on jazzing up her clips this weekend.... I'll post pics when I finish them!
I'm really looking forward to our weekend! Saturday night Trav and I are going out on a date to celebrate our 2 year anniversary!!! Dinner and a movie I do believe! :)
Happy Wednesday everyone!
If you look real close you can see the 4 teeth coming in the top!

Our Weekend
We have been having the nicest weekend! It feels like the best weekend ever! I think part of that might be because last weekend was a bummer since I was sick:)
Yesterday morning we went to the Pumpkin Patch to take a few pictures of Emma. Needless to say I didn't get one..that's right ONE good picture of her! She has four teeth coming in on the top and the poor girl was a little fussy this weekend. She was a little stinker and wouldn't even look at the camera:) After we went to the Pumpkin Patch we headed over to Bass Pro to walk around and to let Trav show me things that he might want for his birthday and Christmas! I would like to note that Emma did smile twice while we were in Bass Pro... once when she saw herself in a mirror:) and the other time when her Daddy lifted her stroller high up in the air like a roller coaster! We then came home and took naps and spent the evening together as family. It was so nice!
This morning was church.... our church has the BEST nursery department! The babies are divided into groups and they get moved up either by age or by their skills. We love Emma's nursery workers and I don't want her to move rooms! This was the first Sunday in nursery since Emma figured out how to crawl and pull up. When we went to pick her up they told us that she had one more Sunday with them until she was "promoted"... bummer! Our girlie is getting so big:) No more Baby B for her.. we're moving up to Baby C!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!
Looking angry that she has to sit on a pumpkin and take a picture:)
Trav and Emma
At Bass Pro... this is how her face looked all day! Poor little pup!
Our one happy smile of the day!!! :)
Before church this morning!
In the same solemn mood...:)
I thought I would end on a happy note! :) This was after her nap and four handfuls of blueberry Puff snacks!!! I'd be happy too!

Back from our long weekend!
This weekend Emma's crawling really took off! She's fast as lightening! The weather has been so beautiful that I've been leaving our front door open with the screen door shut... I love it because she'll crawl over and watch the cars go by...then she'll crawl around the living room a bit...and then head back to the screen door to sit and watch the cars a little bit more. She's loving being so dependent on her own little limbs! :)
Yesterday I left Emma alone in the living room for 5 seconds (it was seriously just 5 seconds...this girl is FAST)...when I walked back into the living room she had found the diaper bag (which was in a corner far away from her), pulled out her puff snacks, taken off the lid and dumped them on the floor and in the diaper bag. She was busy picking puffs off the floor and stuffing them in her mouth. She probably didn't know what to do with herself because I only give her one at a time and here she was with Puffs as far as the eye could see :)
The last picture is of Emma and Macey looking at their books. They sat like this for quite awhile... until Emma turned into a bully and kept trying to take Macey's book away from her!
Have a great Wednesday tomorrow!

New Things...
Our baby girl is growing so fast!!! In the past week she has mastered crawling, eating finger foods and drinking from a straw! Wednesday Em and I were sitting in the car at Walmart waiting to meet someone (the lady who bought the hideous gold and white fan to be exact!) and I had a Sonic water and Puff Snacks to keep her busy. It was so cute because she would pick up a snack with her little index finger and thumb and pop it into her mouth...then she would lean over and take a sip of her Sonic water and then back to her snack! She looked like such a big girl! I do have to make a note that her Auntie Kaitlin taught her how to drink out of a straw this weekend:) I didn't know she could and Kaitlin kept working with her until she could! Thanks Aunt Kaitlin! :)
Last night was the highschool football game...they won...Finally! Mom had made Emma a special orange sweater to wear to the games but it hasn't been cold enough for her to wear...until last night!!! Emma looked like a precious little lion! So here are the pics Mom!
Yay for the weekend being here! Enjoy it everyone!
Sipping our delicious Sonic water!
Before the game... I'll have everyone know that the t-shirt she's wearing is from the Target dollar bin:) we just added a little bling and fru-fru to it! Here's the spider bow Mom!
Emma and me at the game
My little lion on the front porch this morning! I didn't have a smiling picture of her in the sweater... so we had picture time this morning! :)

Emma and her BFF Macey:)
Most of you know but a couple of months ago I started watching a sweet baby girl named Macey at our home. She is almost 5 months younger than Em. Macey and her mom Melissa have been such a blessing in our lives!!! We love them! :)
It's so fun watching Emma and Macey interact! Emma is just now getting to where she realizes that Macey is here! This morning after Melissa dropped Macey off Emma crawled over to where I was holding Macey in my lap on the floor... she crawled right next to Macey and put her little head next to Macey's... and THEN stuck out her tongue on Macey's cheek. I laughed and laughed because it looked exactly like she was giving Macey a hug and kiss! She really does love her best friend! :)
The BFF's playing together:)
A typical day always consists of Emma getting stuck under the couch and Macey sitting there staring at her:)
