Today we headed to a peach orchard that is about a 30 minute drive from our house. The weather couldn't have been more perfect! It almost felt like early fall outside! We made sure to go to the orchard right at lunchtime because they sell delicious burgers/hotdogs and PEACH ICECREAM! It was divine! We cheated and didn't pick any peaches... just bought a nice big bag of them! I'm thinking I'll turn mine into peach cobbler or peach crisp!
It felt so good to get out of the house and to be "normal" again :). As normal as can be with a new addition! Trav and I had to laugh because on the way home Emma was crying because she wanted her "baa-baa" (pacifier) which she only is allowed to get during naptime and bedtime (that's a whole post in itself... *sigh*)... and then Colt started in wailing because he was hungry... it was the first time since he's been born that both of them have been besides themselves and there wasn't much to do but keep driving:) It was quite the experience!
Alrighty... both babes are napping so I think I'm going to do the same!

Wow! Already out of the house and looking great!!! :) You guys are such a precious family of 4! Was that Ham's Orchard? We have been thinking about going there soon too. Looks delicious!

I can't believe ya'll are out and going to a peach farm. So be honest, how is it? It sounds like ya'll are doing good if this is the first time they've both been beside themselves. You look awesome!!
Ashley, you look wonderful, can't believe you just had a baby....Your children are precious, Emma looks like hubby and I think that Colt will look just like mommy....
Where did you go to get the peaches? I want to go there, we love peaches.
