Look at the difference a year makes!!!
Saturday was Emma's birthday party. We had it at her Nan and Pop's house. It was a simple yet fun party! We had grilled burgers, baked mac n' cheese, fruit salad, baked beans, potato salad and chips! For dessert my mom, sisters and I made Key Lime Cupcakes with Cream Cheese icing and Strawberry Cupcakes with Buttercream Frosting. From what I hear they were very delicious! I didn't give them a try... Baby #2 would rather have real food than sweets... perhaps it's a little boy?! :) After lunch we opened presents.... everyone was SO generous! She received lots of clothes, toys, books (my favorite!!!) and a precious princess backpack from her BFF Macey Butler that has her name embroidered on it! Thankyou everyone for all of the wonderful gifts and for making Emma's birthday so special!
As if the weekend couldn't get anymore busy... Sunday was Emma's Baby Dedication at church. It was very special to have both of our families there! Emma did a pretty good job... she started to get a little fussy since it was naptime. :) After church we came back to our house for a delicious lunch of Chili and French Bread.
We had such a wonderful weekend! I can't believe that my little baby is ONE! I love her SO MUCH! :) It's amazing to me how much she's changed in just one year. I can't imagine what she'll be like in another years time!
Just a little update on Baby #2! Baby is growing nicely:) My stomach has begun to stick out a little bit. Not enough to look pregnant...just chubby:) I've been feeling fantastic...just a little tired. We should find out in about a month what the sex of the baby is! Some days I think it's a girl and others I think it's a boy. Trav is just sure that it's a little boy:)
Have a great Tuesday everyone! I promise I'll be more faithful in keeping up with the blog!

Okay, on the part when you said an update on baby #2 you said, "They are growing nicely" Is that your way of telling us there are 2 babies? I am confused!
I'm glad she had a good birthday. It looked fun.
What Angie said in the comment before mine were my thoughts exactly!
Everything looked so cute at the party! Especially Miss Emma. :) The chocolate cake picture cracks me up! Glad she had a great 1st b-day.
haha NO sorry! Only ONE baby:) Can you tell I wrote that post in the evening when I should have been in bed? :) sorry to trick you guys... no twins in our future:)
Well that would have been fun too but I'm glad there's only a singleton.
Happy Birthday Emma! I love her tutu and the banner! It's so cute! Oh, and that cake! Wow-I think she had fun!
