Side Smiler :) (update for Grandma)

Just a little update for Grandma! Colty is such a happy baby and smiles constantly! We laugh at his little smile because it's always lopsided! The right side of his mouth goes up and his nose wrinkles every time! When he smiles a full smiles (rarely) a sweet little dimple shows on his left cheek. Love it!

Okay my faithful blog readers... I know some of you who read my blog... but I'm curious as to everybody else is! I know that I'm extremely guilty of reading blogs and never commenting. :) So... I promise that I'll comment on every blog I read this week if you will comment on this post just so I can know who you are! It's time to confess my blog reading friends! Coltyboy's Two Month Stats

Weight- 13.15 lbs (85%)
Height-24 3/4 inches (off the chart)

Sweety Colty had his two month appt. this morning. I can't believe he's gained over 5 lbs in just two months! Such a porky pig! And I wasn't surprised at all to see that he's still off the chart in height... both him and Emmy take after their daddy in that area. Lucky kiddos!

Now... on to other things. I've been thinking about how I want my blog to be. I know that I enjoy reading blogs that write about a wide variety of things. The primary reason that I blog is so that my family in Missouri can see pics of the babies... but I want to start blogging about other things as well... such as menu ideas, money saving tips, crafting ideas and things of that nature. Alrighty... off to clean the house :) It's a Friday night full of fun over here! ha

Back in business!

Alrighty... the blog is somewhat put back together! It's pretty simple and basic... but I love it! I've been working on de-cluttering and deep-cleaning our house and I guess that all just transferred over to the blog! I am so sick and tired of unnecessary stuff that is just filling up closets, the attic and the shed! Does anyone else ever feel that way? It truly is amazing how much money you can make by selling odds and ends that are taking up space in your house! Craigslist has been my bff lately :)
This past week it rained and rained and rained. Which meant that there was no outdoor playtime for Emma. Which also means that this mommy needed to find fun and creative things to do inside! She spent alot of time coloring and crafting this week (pic below). If you look in the cupholder of her seat you will see a little layer of princess stickers that she loves to stick all over everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. Her favorite object that she loves to stick princess stickers on is her little brother. The other day I walked in the room to find his legs covered in stickers and a cinderella princess sticker on his forehead that said, "So Pretty." :) You would think that she would run out of stickers eventually... however she has a giant book full of 850 princess stickers. That means ALOT of princess fun over here!
If for any reason some of this post makes no sense it's because I am determined to get a post in before bedtime! :) Annnnddd I'm really tired! So... please look over any grammatical errors! Because I know there are plenty!

Rainy day coloring (remember to check out the princess stickers)

Em has really taken an interest in Colty's cradle. She likes to lay in it straight as a stick with her arms by her side... her head touches one end and her feet touch the other. :) She'll tell me, "Bye mom... bye" and will keep saying it until I walk out of the room. And she'll just lay in his cradle until I come back in :) little toot!

oh my....

Warning: a small disaster has happened to my blog!!!

Well... I had the grand idea that I would try and "make-over" my own blog so that I could include Colt in the header. Now normally I would just let the professionals take over however I don't think Dave Ramsey (google him if you don't know who I'm talking about) would approve of that purchase at this time... *sigh*. So... I had to take matters into my own hands:) And you know how much my makeover cost? $FREE.99 :) (no not 99 cents... just Free) In other words... Dave Ramsey approved. And yes, I know that it looks like it's $FREE.99 too... but hey... you do what ya gotta do!!! Keep checking back with the blog... who knows what I'll come up with next... ha!

Fancy Schmancy and Chocolate

This morning Emma and I played beauty parlor :) She loves getting her hair fixed and will stand in front of me for as long as it takes! So this morning I had a few extra minutes and thought I'd curl her hair for the first time! It turned out very fluffy and precious:)
Yesterday Bekka came home with a giant bar of chocolate to share with Emma. Needless to say Aunt Bekka was Emma's favorite person for the rest of the day!!!
