Pretty Pretty Princess!

Our baby girl is getting so big!!! I can hardly believe that she's almost 10 months! After looking at pictures from this past weekend and today it makes me realize how fast she's growing and how big she's looking:) Our baby girl is slowly turning into a little girl! Here's a few pictures from today...she's wearing her new necklace shirt that her Nana bought her this weekend. I thought it was quite appropriate being that Emma's favorite thing to play with are strands of beads and necklaces! She's such a pretty princess:)

Fauxhawks, Cousins and Shopping!

This weekend Emma and I went with Emma's Nana to visit her cousins in Austin! We spent the day on Saturday shopping at the outlet mall in San Marcos...LOVE IT!!! We had such a great time! We found some great bargains including Emma's Christmas skirt which is precious! You'll just have to wait until Christmas to see it! Below are some of the pics from the weekend:) Happy Monday!

The other morning Emma woke up from her nap with an awesome Fauxhawk:)

Emma and her cousins!

Twins!

Shopping on Saturday.... we were waiting on a bench for Nana to come out of a store.

The most precious child I have EVER seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I am always trying to get a good picture of Emma smiling and usually snap a thousand and get ONE good picture out of the bunch. This picture is from last week when we were driving home from Wal-Mart... Emma was giggling in the back seat about something and Trav asked if I had my camera... so I handed it to him...he then reached his hand backwards (WHILE driving), snaps a picture (WITHOUT looking) and this was the result. Ridiculous isn't it:)

Our week.... :)

What a great week we've had! It's pretty late so I'm going to try to just recap everything in a little nutshell! So here we go:)

Tonight was the last football game of the season! Hard to believe it's already over...yet at the same time seems like it's been a LONG time! Emma did a great job at the game tonight! She was warm as toast with her new coat, hat and mittens:)

Throughout the week I usually pack Trav a lunch and send it with him to work... but starting last week I'll pack up Emma and Macey and we'll bring Trav's lunch to him! It is such a treat to see him in the middle of the day! We brought it a couple times last week and 2 times this week! Emma LOVES seeing her Daddy! She sits in his lap after he finishes his lunch and Trav always opens up the mirror for her to look at herself. She's such a vain little thing that she won't pay any attention to him while the mirror is open... she'll just look at herself and talk and sing:)

Speaking of singing... our little girl is QUITE the songbird!!! Around two this morning she woke up crying and when I went in to check on her I discovered her room was like an icebox! We have had the heater off for the past week because the weather has been so beautiful. Well last night the temperature dropped and it didn't help that I had left her window cracked to freshen up her room (it smelled like a diaper in there :) ).... so she was sitting up in the middle of her bed crying with her eyes closed. :( So I took her back to bed with me to warm her up. I put her in between Trav and I and we all went right back to sleep. WELL around 5 this morning Trav and I wake up to Emma sitting straight up in bed singing:) and not only was she singing but this is how her song went (imagine this in a high pitched baby singing voice)... "daddddyyyy dadddyyyy daaaadddddyyyy dadda daddyyy" this went on for a good 5 minutes! It was the most precious thing I've ever heard hahaha:) then she layed back down and went to sleep:) so sweet!

Another exciting thing at our house is that Emma can feed herself with her bottle now! She's gotten the hang of holding her own bottle... kind of makes me sad!

I'm really looking forward to our weekend! We don't have alot planned which is why I'm looking forward to it so much! The only things we have planned are church and Trav is going duck hunting and that is IT! :)

Have a great weekend everyone!

*On our way to the football game! And no, she doesn't have lipstick on :)...her lips are just a little chapped plus the fact that they're always this pink! *

*Sleeping Beauty at the game*
*Emma and me after the game...she looks a little startled because she just woke up:) *

*Trav and Emma... we won by the way*

*Our little prissy peacock looking at herself in the mirror*

HAVE A GOOD WEEKEND! :)

Fall Festivities!

The past two nights have been full of fun fall festivities!!! Last night we went to our church's Trunk or Treat. Emma was sleepy when we went so she was pretty solemn most of the night... UNTIL we got in Cinderella's Pumpkin Carriage:) as soon as I took her in it to take our picture she started smiling and giggling! It was so sweet!
Tonight we went to Taren's house (Melissa's sister) for some pictures of all our the babies in their costumes! :) We had such a fun time! Thanks for being such a wonderful hostess Taren:)

Happy Anniversary to us:)

Tonight Trav and I celebrated our 2nd Anniversary! :) God has been good to us and blessed us more than we could ever have imagined in two years! We went out for supper and had planned on going to a movie afterwards...but by the time supper was over we were both tired and wanted to go home and just relax! Emma went to her Nan and Pop's house while we were on our date! I'm posting a few pics from the evening!

Emma looked so sweet today! My dear friend Michelle came for a quick visit last night and brough Emma this sweatshirt as a present... I do believe it's my favorite little sweatshirt that Emma owns! Thanks Michelle:)
Before I brought Emma over to Nan's house she had a bath at our house... I put her in her pj's and put a hat on her because her hair was wet and it was chilly outside...I thought she looked cute and cuddly so I tried to capture the moment...needless to say she did NOT want to capture this moment :)
Happy Anniversary Travy!!! (I'm not sure what I'm doing to his shirt in this pic..?)

My dessert! On the left is cream brullee, then a fancy s'more and last a fancy doughnut hole! It looked so pretty that I wanted to take a pic of it... I think I embarassed Trav when I did this!

Happy Friday! Here are two videos that I took a couple of nights ago! The first is of Emma making kissing noises at Travis:) .... and only at Travis... towards the end of the video he left and I tried to get her to make the noise at me... but I guess I'm not as cool as her dad:) oh well

The second video is of bathtime... every since she was a little baby we put her in the bath tub and she has ALWAYS kicked her legs furiously while laying on her back! Now that she's bigger it's like visiting Shamu at Sea World... you leave the bathroom soaked!

Waffles, Grilled Cheese and Crazy Hair

I know that I say it all the time... but Emma is getting to be such a big girl! I love the age she's at right now because every day she seems to be doing something new:) For a long time she wasn't interested in any foods besides her bottle. Just in the past couple of weeks she has REALLY taken an interest in what we're eating. I kept trying to feed her baby food but she wants nothing to do with it... so big people food it is! I love it because now in the mornings her and I will sit down and eat breakfast together! The foods that I get her to eat the most of are waffles and grilled cheese! It's fun to watch her eat because she concentrates very hard on picking up each piece...then she'll chew it carefully....and then go on to the next piece:) I love it!

I had thought that by 9 months Em's hair would be laying down... but no... it still stands straight up! I love to put headbands with big bows on her but during the day when we're at home that seems a little over the top:) So we've been trying little clippes! They look cute because it clips down a tiny section of hair and the rest just poofs up around the clip! Ha! I'm going to work on jazzing up her clips this weekend.... I'll post pics when I finish them!

I'm really looking forward to our weekend! Saturday night Trav and I are going out on a date to celebrate our 2 year anniversary!!! Dinner and a movie I do believe! :)

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Eating her waffles

If you look real close you can see the 4 teeth coming in the top!

The Blonde Afro

Sweet baby girl! She was sleeping with her head resting on her hands:) It doesn't get any cuter than that!
